Simple file and text sharing

Send one file or note with a short-lived link

FilePaste is a tiny handoff tool: paste text, drop one file up to 80 MB, choose when access ends, and copy the link.

Advanced options Burn after read and encryption

Files and pasted text are limited to 80 MB. Links stop working after the access window you choose. Stored data is deleted when an expired link is next accessed. Learn more about retention.

How it works

How to share something in under a minute

The upload flow stays intentionally small. There is no account, no dashboard, and no extra setup.

  1. Choose text or file

Paste text into the editor or switch to the file tab and choose one file to upload.

  2. Pick the access window

Select how long the link should stay active: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days. After that the link stops working and stored data is removed.

  3. Share the short link

Upload, copy the generated link, and send it where you need it.

FAQ

Questions people usually ask first

The product is simple, so the useful answers are simple too.

How long do links stay active?

You choose the access window before upload: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days. After that the link stops working and the data is deleted on the next access attempt.

What can I share?

You can share plain text or a single file up to 80 MB. There are no accounts or folders.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the page, paste text or choose a file, and copy the link.

Is this encrypted or private storage?

Browser-side encryption is optional. When it is off, FilePaste stores the uploaded text or file normally. When it is on, the server stores encrypted data and the key stays in the share link fragment. Anyone with the active full link can access the share.
